More Snowdrops!
P agreed to go into work at 12:0 lunchtime today . So we went into Sherborne early and visited the veg stall , the grass fed meat stall and of course popped for a coffee .
I had agreed to meet a small group of women who follow the crocheted Lucy ( Attic 24) - the group is called’ Friends of Attic 24 Dorset . The idea was that we would meet at Kingston Lacey, walk amongst the snowdrops and then have a short crochet get together in the cafe . However, best laid plans and all that - the main organiser had to cancel and there was only the possibility of one other person . I waited at the entrance at the agreed time but no sign of anyone ( I’d never met any of these people before), I set off on my walk around the grounds .
A little later there was a message from someone who was there waiting at the cafe ! By the time I arrived , she and her husband were ready to leave but we did have a brief chat .
Kingston Lacey was amazingly busy ; the bonus of the outing apart from a really good walk was that there were lots of photo opportunities.
