Regatta

Up early o’clock, and drove to Deira (see map) for today regatta. My race (mens double) was supposed to be at 11:30, but eventually was at 2pm. The weather was pretty windy and quite choppy. The row to the start was against the wind, so the boat was swamped with water at the start. We survived the 1000m, and brought the boat home in 8th place. Now feeling a bit sunburned and tired. 

Up early tomorrow for dragon boating and the clean the rowing sculls.
