We tried to be farmers today

We "topped" one of the sheep paddocks which means cutting off all the long grass the sheep won't eat and allowing new growth to come through. We don't have any fancy farm machinery so my husband used the ride on mower and then we raked the long grass up and put it on the trailer by hand using the old Massey Ferguson to tow it.
