Vienna Round One

Well, I've concluded that Vienna has got to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We woke up at 5 to bus to Frankfurt Airport for our flight to Vienna. We spent the afternoon on a tour of part of the city with this nice old Slovakian lady. Seriously, she is a very sweet person, and she had some interesting stories to tell. My favorite place was Schönbrunn Palace, which is this work of architectural greatness. The 1,441-room palace was home of Queen Maria Theresa, Emperor Franz Joseph, and other famous members of Austria imperial lore. We toured the palace, then climbed to the garden, on top of a majestic hill, from which I took this shot. I'm going back to Vienna Sunday with some amigos because one afternoon is not nearly enough to enjoy the city, so that will be round two haha.
