We have very high barometric pressure in some parts of the UK at the moment. Our old barometer read 31.12 inches this morning and my digital weather station said it was 1044hPa (which is 30.89 inches so I need to adjust my old one). In some places it is 1048. 
I send in my weather observations to the Met Office every day at around 9.00am.
