NEL Juniors V Bingley Juniors 

A bright, still afternoon so I decided to see what was happening on the football pitches. Just one match - a cup tie I think! I walked a circuit of the game, passed the team extras either side of the same line.  Passed the mums and dads (drivers) cheering them on from the other side of the pitch. North East Leeds took the lead (see extra for goal celebrations) but were pegged back almost immediately by the visitors - unfortunately there followed an unseemly, and totally unnecessary, scuffle for the ball! It was a fast moving enjoyable game to watch but it was too cold to linger long. 

 As I made my way home I could still hear the high-spirited shouts from the field of play.
