Overflow

Another walk around Etherow today, this time with Kevin.
The lake is still full and this is the run off into the river at the side. We didn’t go down to the river today but we could hear that it was very fast flowing.
Once home we prepared all the veg for tea and as the weather was lovely, cold but dry with a little sunshine, i spent an hour or so in the front garden clearing the leaves from over winter and cutting back a few of the shrubs that had gone leggy at the end of last year.
Rugby followed by football now on TV then some visitors coming for a Sunday roast beef dinner, that’ll be the end of our relaxing.
