For a change.

I was up early and the day was bright.  There was ice on the car and in places frost on the ground.  Borrowdale was my destination a valley which I do like.  This photo is looking east on the road from Portinscale to Grange.  The lake is calm with a little haze over it.  I took this photo with the trees pointing to the island and the curve of branches 'mirroring' the slope of Blencathra.   Walla Crag is to the right and the lower slope of Skiddaw is to the left.  A chilly early morning.
