Up . . .

. . . . before the sun - or even the birds!  
Well, the birds were starting to chirrup when I got to go out in the car!
Off with Terri and two other ladies from the Camera Club to attend the Western Counties Annual Digital Image Competition Day. WE left early to try and make use of the early bird parking - but got to the NCP car park with only ten minutes to spare and struggled to download the needed 'App' etc so missed the 0900 hr deadline. Ugh.  Anyway, with three of us to help pay the whole day cost worked out slightly more bearable.  Popped off to have a coffee and bacon bap in the nearest eaterie - a McDonalds! 
The prints and digital images had been premarked so we saw some of the 'real' images before settling in to see the digital counterparts of all the prints. Some stunning work!
After lunch we did all the digital images.  Dorchester won, Bristol were second and Truro third, with Taunton a close fourth.  We ended up tenth out of about 50 clubs so not too shabby.
Lovely to meet up in person with 'old' friends too - Jorge's Mum was there so I got to meet her in person, even though she no longer blips regularly.
En route home I downloaded an app that we'd seen at last Thursday's lecture - a bit of fun on the phone! Photospiralysis.  I will need to play a lot more before I 'get it', but fun to try it out....extra
The sun coming home was once again amazing - going to be a chilly night methinks!
Home again now enjoying a gin and tonic with dinner! Not sure I will be up late tonight!
