Bapty Mahers, Athy

I remember this style of pub from my childhood, where the front part was a pub, and the back part was something random like a hardware shop. 

Of course this is closed up now. Bit of a shame, as this on the main street of Athy. 


The women, if they were allowed in, would have had to stay in the snug with an appropriate lady drink, like sherry, a soft drink, or a gin & tonic!:)
