Practising

I went for an icy swim in Bassenthwaite first thing. If I'd made it 10 minutes earlier I would have been able to photograph still water with Skidaw reflections. Nevermind. We had a good cold swim, Liz had made tray bakes they went down well with a hot cuppa.

There was an old Gypsy caravan and horse on the green across the road from our house. By the time I'd had my shower it had gone - another photo opportunity missed.

Tom and I walked along Quarry beck. We saw a pair of dippers, I tried to capture them but I was too far away, anyway they were lovely to see.

I ended up taking a shot of Quarry beck waterfall in the end, first time with this kit.

Happy Valley now.....
