Mother's Day Brunch

Took my mom out to eat for Mother's Day (it falls in May in the US, different from the British Mothering Sunday of course). We went to this snazzy little breakfast eatery in Durham called "The Broken Egg" - one of the best restaurants in the area which is saying something because Durham has been voted as "Tastiest Town in the South" for a few years in a row.

But I got a proper thick eggs benedict. My mother did her usual trick and got a little bowl of oatmeal with fresh mixed berries. Oh well. I guess it IS Mother's Day so she can eat whatever she likes while I gorge on something glorious like this!

Upon reflection, I just realized I post lots of food blips. Hehe.
