Narrow Neck Road

Dividing the Jamison Valley from the Megalong Valley is a long ridge which leaves the Katoomba Escarpment as a narrow piece of land which gradually broadens out into a wooded plateau. Looking from above it's like a creature with a very narrow neck. Hence its name. Narrow Neck. This image shows part of the way along the road.
