Wonder....
Naturally no sign of life, the snow has melted on the entrances to the hives, but they can't get out to 'do their business' until the temperature gets to at least +8°C. The cold itself is not the main problem, but very cool, damp conditions over a long period. As it's a professional hive set up, I'm sure the owner knows what has to be done.
