Busy day

Busy day back in the burgh. I was running around at work pretty much all day, from presentations to research councils, via finalising printers' proofs, to acting as an examiner for a PhD viva. The evening concluded, after a hailstorm when we had to take refuge in Biblos, with a very pleasant meal at La Garrigue, which delivered, as it so often does lovely evening light at this time of the year. Actually, it really concluded with a wee drop of Bowmore 18 yr old in the Doric Tavern, for the rest of the party, but by then I was on the water, thinking about today.
