It was brilliant! I think I did well! I haven’t cycled for a long time and was looking forward to the challenge. Yes, my bottom was sore by the end of the ride, but I have enough of one so that together with the padded saddle cover, it soon recovered.

Wonderful stops by the lakes and a real joy to watch the birds. Otherwise, just silence.

Again, I’m so grateful for the opportunity to take this holiday and for all the treats I’ve had.

This evening we went out to dinner to celebrate four birthdays in one. That’s the year covered.
