Bully for Me!
I've been playing with camera traps over the last week or two. One is pointed towards the bird feeders and the other one has been covering the lawn. That one has mostly been filming Cato. I took the rotary washing line down and h'es been fascinated by the hole it's left, hoping a big mouse might pop out.
Yesterday I moved that one, which is set to take video, to a position close to the bird bath and it did very well over the last 24 hours. There's been lots of bathing activity with blue tits, a long-tailed tit, dunnock, robin, blackcap (just the male, I haven't seen a female this year). The star of the show was this male Bullfinch which I was particularly pleased about as I've never seen one in our garden before. They're a bit secretive so I'm glad to have caught one on camera.
The definition isn't very good because it's a still taken from the video which only gives a fairly small file. I enlarged the file with a bit of AI trickery and thought it was good enough to put up.
