Lone ragged tree

This tree is on its own between some fields on the top of Beaminster Down.  I find it difficult not to photograph it . . .

I regret that I mowed our grass today; a mole(s) has started activity under both lawns and I (Mrs B) felt the need for me to start walking up and down the rough grass with a cutting machine to deter this activity.  I've never cut the grass so early in the year and I shall try to avoid doing so again.
