Where does the time go?

After a friends husband suddenly died and another friends dad died after a short illness I have become very philosophical about life the universe and everything. Walking past this bench the quote stuck with me.
How many times do we say: “I’ll do that one day.” But the days go by and and it doesn’t get done, life’s trivialities dominate our lives and stop us from doing the things we should be doing, that give us positive experiences to remember, make someone happy or just spend time doing nothing without thinking about lists.
If you really want to do something that feels important it is worth putting a date for it.
