Fossils Are Fatal

Our Monday night football game is at the local High School and therefore my route there is the route to school for many pupils. Clearly the climate activists at the school have been out promoting the next Climate Strike. For the third week running we had uneven sides and for the third time the team with seven beat the eight. Unfortunately this week I was on the losing side. We had our chances but couldn't convert enough of them - D and J were both very good in goal. The one time I got a shot past J the ball bounced back off the post - just wasn't my night! Bit like Leeds at Forest yesterday which was one defeat too many for Jesse Marsch as he got the sack this afternoon. Not sure it's the right thing having just brought in a number of players in the transfer window and now the manager that wanted them has gone. Back to back games against Man U and then season defining matches against Everton and Southampton. Really need something from the first two matches and then a minimum of four points from the other two - a tough ask given the recent run of form.
