Wetherspoons
Had an early start this morning as I had to go for a Covid test at St Helier hospital in preparation for the probable operation tomorrow to reset my elbow.
After that we stopped for breakfast at Wetherspoons near Nonsuch Park. My Blip is a print from the walls.
Famous for creating the lions at the foot of Nelson’s column, Sir Edward Landseer was Queen Victoria’s favourite artist. He lived on the south side of Cheam Road, where Landseer Road is now situated - not too far from the pub.
