A Taste of the Uneven West
Thanks to Pinkhairedlady for hosting mono Monday this month and for today’s theme of smooth/rough or uneven. I chose uneven for my blip. I have both covered in the extra. They look so much better in the higher resolution Large
I knew I could find something at the Desert Meadows Park. It’s a small park, designed and maintained by the Green Valley Gardeners. It’s landscaped with mostly cactus and other succulents. But it has a certified Monarch butterfly garden and hummingbird area.
There are small gazebos and scattered chairs and benches with cushions. It’s a pleasant place but I have to be careful because the ground is very uneven. I’m hoping to be able to see better (and thus walk more balanced) when I ditch the trifocals.

Parenting
You don’t know fear until you hear your 2-yr old flush the toilet and then say, “BYE, BYE.”
Parenting is: telling your kids that they can’t eat brownies for breakfast and then eating brownies for breakfast after they’ve left for school.
My wife and I are going to be super bummed if we don’t get a good grade on our daughters science project.
