Japan - Day 6: Kyoto

A spot of temple hopping today with a walk through a spectacular bamboo forest. Today's image is of Kinkaku-ji, one of the most photographed temples in Asia. It is stunning but also no secret! It was mobbed and, despite its beauty, it was hardly the place to meditate!

I was treated to a Geisha dance performance in the late afternoon. I didn't have a clue what was going on but it was visually stunning.
