The otherside

Today's back blip is the other side of the new garden gate. It's not yet all done, but each day we get a little closer...

If you look carefully where the number and our names are, you'll notice where the old letterbox was (and why our names are there, as per regulations), and to close the gap, the carpenter has slid the T&G planks down to fill the gap, before cutting the excess of the top as the new gate is square and slightly shorter than it used to be.

For lunch we went to a local Indian restaurant in town. We've been to a different one which was okay, but the one in Saint-Servan was much better. The interior is looking a bit scuffed in places, and the menu is a weird mix of Anglo-Indian and French, but the staff were polite, efficient and the food was great!
