Blaze A Trail!

I remember when the maternity leave I was covering up in the North East ended, one of the people I worked with wrote in a card, "blaze a trail". It's always stuck with me, and I don't really know why.

I also know one of my favourite people to quote, Ralph Waldo Emerson, said "do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail".

The amazing sky this morning reminded me of that saying, blaze a trail. To me, it means making our own choices, making our own mistakes and finding our own way to our own happiness.

Not always easy but a good motto to try and hold onto as we navigate life!
