Almost Dark

A sunless day.   Around sunset time a pink tinge in the north.   Almost dark then this out to the west.   No sight of the sun, just this.   It really was this colour too .... for just a few minutes.

Another fairly productive day.  Jamie was riding again this morning, cold, grey but fun, even though he was nearly thrown off after another pony took exception to his.  He regained his seat well and the other pony was taken out of the ring.  No harm done.  Back home, a bit more admin but I also started sorting my bookcase out.  Books were thrown on when everything arrived over two years ago, piled high atop too.   Some will go, some will be relocated, most will fit nicely and be easier to locate without all the clutter of things squeezed in higgledy piggledy.   Dusting awaits :-/

This afternoon Jamie had the second PA candidate for a trial session.   It's a hard decision as both a very suitable.  Tomorrow I will talk to them both about the outcome.   Timmy is giving more cause for concern in Birmingham, Ruth is coping well with the stress of it all but hard decisions lie ahead at some stage.   Tonight's session with the shanty singers was just the kind of light relief I needed.   We may always be a work in progress (!) but it's a lot of fun.   Pottery tomorrow :-)
