Top 100 SA Wines Tasting Festival

The team at Top 100 SA Wines have created a wine competition that promotes South Africa's 100 highest achieving wines as scored by a panel of local and international judges, which is then packaged in a user-friendly book. the event is now a permanent part of the Cape wine scene - in the space of only three years.
This year's selection was from 400 great wines. Of those that I tasted, highlights include Groote Post Reserve Sauvignon Blanc and Reserve Pinot Noir; Boschendal Cecil John Reserve Shiraz 2008; Alvi's Drift White Blend 2011; and the Le Riche Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 and Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2010.
