Moon Setting

I drew some curtains early this morning, to see the waning moon setting beyond the side gable of a neighbours house.

I was up early as an engineer from Ovo was arriving first thing to install a smart meter. He turned out to be Brazilian, so we had an interesting conversation that mixed energy issues and Brazilian politics.

Apparently connections from smart meters in the north of England are slower than those in the south. The company they use in the south uses mobile networks. The company these use in the north uses more unreliable radio signals. It seems levelling up is an issue for just about everything !
