Puzzling the monkeys

Not a bad morning, but the forecast for the afternoon wasn't good - wet and very windy. I was hoping to return to Dunollie, but didn't fancy getting soaked!

As it happened it didn't rain but the wind certainly got up. I spent an hour or so putting canes out in possible planting places, but it wasn't much fun with some of the big trees blowing about! The old monkey puzzle tree is the worst - it's about 120 years old maybe, though no planting records exist. It's in very poor shape with only a topknot remaining and I feel it should be taken down before it falls down!
