Nearly there

I started watering my amaryllis just after Christmas. It was a present from d.I.L Mikki, and as she will be visiting this coming weekend I am hoping this first flower will have opened by then.
We have had another bright day so I wrapped up well and went for a walk. My leg doesn’t get much better but it wasn’t too bad today and I made myself walk further than I had expected. It must surely do me good, just being outside.
