The Green Man

This was constructed in 2005 with the aim of growing climbing plants up it to cover the frame and make it green.
Here we are in 2023 and only his legs are progressing! He'll get there in the end hopefully.
I like it and it was bigger than I expected
Our geocaching trip around Buckshaw Village (near Chorley, Lancashire) took us here. village is a misnomer now since thousands of new houses have been built there, making it into a large town. 
Extra is of Buckshaw Hall - such a shame it's surrounded by thousands of new houses.
We had sunshine but a bitterly cold breeze - nice to see the sun though.
