Butterburr
Another walk at Quarrymill today, but no kingfisher. This is butterburr which grows in profusion along the river. It is apparently so called because they used to use the large leaves to wrap butter.
Alice and I went to the antique centre at Abernyte after our walk, for a coffee. If you watch bargain hunt you may have seen it featured this week.
