Where did you come from?

‘Twas the day before Thursday, when all through the park
Not a person was talking, as if needing a spark;
The feeders were hung from the branches with care
In hopes that some hummingbirds soon would be there;
 
The camera was nestled all snug in its case;
While visions of hummingbirds filled my headspace.
And me on the prowl for something to shoot;
Had just looked up and saw something cute
 
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a Broad-billed hummingbird, at this time of year!
