The Foot Bridge….

Whenever Maisie and I walk along the paths and tracks or the Taylor River Reserve we invariably cross the river via this foot bridge. It is a solid, well-made structure used by walkers, mobility scooters and cyclists. Last July we had a series of storms which put the river into flood…. Bank to bank in some places. The flood waters flowed over the deck of this bridge leaving only the hand rails above the raging waters. A very dramatic scene at the time.
