Corn

Each Spring, isbi and I pretend we’re going to supply the family with homegrown vegetables. By Christmas we’ve usually lowered our expectations to enjoying the successes and being philosophical about the failures, both of which were likely in the opposite category the previous year.
The corn looks like it might be among the successes this year but that reminds me of the old saying about counting chickens.
