Rerouted 19 bus route

Awake to find double yellow lines being painted outside the house. Only the house width and a few houses to the east. You might think you’d be notified before such a thing would happen, especially in the world of Edinburgh Council where everything is consulted upon. After much neighbourhood consternation, we discover it was requested by Lothian Buses to give their drivers a good sightline of traffic oncoming from the Granton Square direction. Can't argue with that, I guess. 
Over to the boat to smooth off my inexpertly applied gelcoat filler. And replace the winch handle pockets with nice new pristine white ones.
Later, just as the rain came in, off to the Diggeries where there was only myself and the two Steves. Still, we blethered away, not surprisingly. A posse of Raith Rovers fans at the far side of the bar kept up a noisy commentary as they came back from 2-0 down to go to extra time and penalties and they won it, whatever it was. Shocking pink strips though. Quite unacceptable.
