Maw Tiled Floor

We ate breakfast in this glass roofed atrium.
The mosaic floor is absolutely stunning: featuring some of the finest surviving Maw tiles in the world.
Found out this floor was installed in 1867 and the design is unique to the convent.
I’m just in awe of this place and the breakfast was fabulous too!
