Willow Catkin

A few weeks ago I blipped (as an extra) some wonderful silver furry catkins shining against a blue sky - photo here on Flickr

Today when I walked past I saw that they have developed into these fabulous bright yellow flowers.

Spring is really getting going now….

We met up with our daughter for brunch this morning - and on our way home on the motorway, we passed a brilliant couple on a motorcycle / sidecar combo - added as extra today. Poor image quality but I just used my phone through the car window - also pointing into the sun!!
