Lunch with a view
It's good to put your feet up over lunch, especially if you've walking up for an hour and a half beforehand, and even more so if you've got a great view from your lunch spot.
On Wednesday I was over on the most easterly ridge of the Black Mountains - today we were three valleys to the west. The valley you see on the left is the Grwyne Fechan. The Abergavenny Women's Walking Group went up with Pip Woolf to see - and add a little too - her woollen line.
Pip suggested that we all walk up in silence, and reflect on the question: "What has brought me here?" It was good to do that.
