Buttermere

Drove along Whinlatter Pass to Buttermere and walked around the lake after R had dealt with an urgent work call using the cafe WiFi (no signal here). It was a pleasant walk though cold when the icy wind found its way through the fells. Lots of photo opportunities- this was one. Later we drove to Newlands, then Borrowdale then Keswick. Very picturesque along the way. I would like to live up here but R says it’s impractical and I guess she’s right. Great shame and it may still happen.
