It was only a matter of time

The rather attractive National Trust Acorn bird feeder, that my husband received as a Christmas present from my sister, has been hanging in the garden for around a month now. Sadly the squirrels have now taken ownership and the mesh holding the peanuts is almost chewed through. Sometime soon there will be a pile of peanuts on the ground, if only for a short time, then they will be gone and the feeder will be defunct. Another win for the squirrels!
