February

After the excitement of all the springlike activity yesterday, here's a reminder that it's still February, full of sere browns, with no sign of green spring at all.  Still, I thought the roe deer very fetching and she was clearly enjoying the rather small quantities of sunshine on offer today.  The far end of the reserve is now open again, with the flooding gone.  I saw her there, on the far side of the river.

I have also walked Hazel, sorted out the doctors, done the washing and talked to Little Sis on the phone.  My life's so exciting, really what would I do without blip?
