Sidmouth
My husband cut down the beech hedge in the autumn behind our garages as it’s a pain to keep trimming it. He cut them right down, drilled a hole in the middle and put some Round Up on them to kill them. We now have the task of digging up the roots if we can. Some came up quite easily, some will have to remain in situ but we made a good start on the task.
I took the bus into Sidmouth this afternoon as I had a package to collect. A quick walk along the sea front and back on the next bus home. The sun was shining as I took this shot.
We asked the gardener who does our common area garden, to prune our two large trees in the garden and the various Holly we have in the corner. He spent just over an hour after his normal three hour shift and make quick work of the task, it would have taken us ages.
