Ghost of a chance

I had hoped I’d be able to get a better shot of this ghost sign which has been revealed to the world during the refurbishment of a restaurant in Meadowbank (Edinburgh).

Unfortunately, by the time I came out of the hairdresser’s next door, it had been painted over, so while not a great photo it’s probably one of the very last pictures of this sign!

I can’t find any dates for when the Tivoli operated - I’m guessing 60s or 70s based on the colour scheme/lettering, but I could be very wrong!

There’s a wee bit of local news coverage about the sign being found, but even that doesn’t give any info.
