Flying through the birch trees

Some second grade artwork up in the hall finally. This is the grade that I'm working in now and I know how long this project took. They started painting their birch trees and then adding branches. Another day they started working on the birds. And another day putting it all together with the glittery snow in the background.
I love the way the four of these pieces make it look like a full on forest with the birds flying through.
Today was a tough one to get through as my cold has moved into my head and I really felt lousy. I have been wearing my mask and with as much other sickness roaming around the school I don't feel I added to it. But I am taking a sick day tomorrow and hopefully get some rest.
