The first night in Costa Rica and probably the most up market hotel of the trip. The pool closed several hours before we arrived, it still looks enticing.
A light supper and now endeavouring to stay awake for a couple more hours.
We are quite a large group, 19 including the leaders who are energetic young chaps keen to make sure our expectations are met. As ever a congenial friendly bunch of folk, mixture of solo travellers and couples.
Tomorrow we head overland to the Caribbean coast where a cold front from Europe is expected to hit Cahuita bringing the temperature down to around 25 which sounds perfect.
Not sure how the WiFi will be after today, I may need to do some retrospective blipping.
