Sarah and I went book shopping.

Came home to a phone call from my mum telling me she had heart surgery yesterday. Obviously a shock to me, but my stepdad clarified that she’s actually having an operation next week. They both get very muddled but I’ve now seen the letter and it’s correct. I’ve been putting off the seven hour drive for the last few months so this forces my hand:
