Vintage Sewing Bits

Sometimes thoughts flow into my brain, and just won’t go away. I’ve had this thought for a few days of creating a small, still life with vintage sewing items. I have an abundance of old wooden spools, so I started by looking through those. I like the ones with the faded thread colors. I also found one with string wrapped around it. I remember my grandmother saved even the smallest bits of string for reuse. The presser foot is from a Singer treadle sewing machine. The cabinet is pretty, but the machine is rusty. Someday I’m going to clean it up, but today the rusty piece was good for a picture.
