Great Cormorant
Today we were quite busy with mooring the barge again on the stern of the Thialf. This time the weather forecast is just beautiful for the next few days, so we have a weather window as big as a whale. The jacket is resting on the seafloor now and tonight the piles to secure its position will be stabbed in the guides of the jacket. Maybe I can take a picture of this tomorrow. Instead of lots of steel, I took a picture of a living creature this time. Yesterday I wrote about the Borkumer Stenen, an area where fish was more of less is invented. And this Great Cormorant knows this also. Resting on a dangerous place however; our tow wire, while still connected to the barge.
