We've lived in our home for over 40 years so, with the exception of new tech, if we haven't got it by now, we probably don't need it! So when our sons asked what we'd like for Christmas, we said that we'd rather not have 'stuff'. We followed this up with a few suggestions and so we got a year's Friends Membership to Westonbirt Arboretum as our main gift.
Well, what we actually got was a homemade paper voucher which stated we needed to speak to the nearest available son to claim our membership! We claimed it when the lads were here on Wednesday and went to Westonbirt today. I love seeing trees in winter, you can really look at their shape and structure.
